And do you have a talent for coordinating, critically assessing information and carefully following up files? As a BREEAM Assessor you lead several studies within a sustainability dossier in the right direction by carefully managing and always keeping an eye on compliance with the BREEAM manual. BREEAM is an abbreviation of Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and is a sustainability label for realizing sustainable buildings with minimal environmental impact. Through your efforts, our clients achieve their sustainability label and you will help us to build a greener living environment.
As assessor, you make an estimate of the score a building can achieve according to the BREAAM label. In doing so, you map out the study cost and any construction cost.
You will then coordinate all the necessary studies: this may concern ecology, hydrology, acoustics, simulations,... You will monitor who makes the studies and closely monitor the planning and flow.
You critically evaluate the incoming studies: are they of sufficient quality, do they answer our question and do they comply with the BREEAM manual? If necessary, you make adjustments.
You build up a solid file and submit it electronically to BRE. You consult with them about any deviations, shortcomings or innovative elements.
You attend meetings with all parties involved in the construction process, primarily in a supporting role towards the client. This both during the design phase and with the contractor(s) during the construction phase.
Master's degree, preferably in a technical direction. However, your interest in sustainability and organizational talent is at least as important.
You have a first work experience in which you successfully coordinated projects.
You are analytically strong, think critically and know how to structure a multitude of information.
Thanks to your good communication skills, you demonstrate the necessary power of persuasion.
Experience with BREEAM and/or recognition as an Assessor or Accredited Pofessional are an asset but not a must. You are eager to learn and willing to take the necessary training courses.
A basic knowledge of technical installations and the various studies made within a sustainability framework can help, but is not a must. Our experts are at your service with their advice.
You speak perfect Dutch and English and in French.
A challenging job with responsibility and challenge.
A growing international company, where you and your colleagues can make the difference for the buildings of tomorrow.
A pleasant, family atmosphere where values such as lifelong learning, quality, expertise, sustainability and innovation are tangible.
